Small motors - big Fun

Have FUN - with new motors from KONTRONIK. The new FUN motors are the successor of the well known BL motor line. More compact and lightweight with better electrical data - and the reliability of a proven design - that's what the FUN400/480 and FUN500/600 offer.

The results are impressive:

  • more torque
  • less resistance
  • reduced losses while idling
  • higher efficiency
  • up to 15% shorter (FUN400)
  • up to 9% less weight (FUN400)

The FUN Drives are developed and produced completely by KONTRONIK with the same fabrication techniques used for the high end SAMBA and TANGO motors Investment in quality is the result. See for yourself - these motors deleiver what they promise - more fun in water, on land or in the air.

In this motor-size we offer 7usefull speeds, which you can combine with the KONTRONIK KPG25 gear with reduction 3,7, 4,2, 5,2:1 and 6,7:1. You can get the motors pre-installed with the gear. But it is also possible to retrofit the gear, so that the motor can be use in direct drive, except with the 6,7 gearbox
To make this possible you have to order the motor and gear single, with the suitable adapter-flange. (Ref.-no.: 3500)

Please pay attention, that the maximum rated load depends on the relationship with the possible cooling. The data is for max. RC1600 batteries with good cooling. Please take care that you always have enough cooling. Refrigeration-units you can order under Ref.-no. 9400. In case of doubt, please call our Hotline under 0800/Brushless.
